Footballers from Bavaria Munich will run into mourning at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday (15:30 o’clock).
The reason is the death of the former Vice President and Supervisory Board member Rudolf Schels. As FC Bavaria reported on Friday, the entrepreneur from Regensburg “died suddenly and unexpectedly” at the age of 70s.
Schels was primarily responsible for the development of the club’s basketball division as vice president from 2012 to 2016. From 2014 to 2016 he sat on the supervisory board of FC Bayern AG.
