With the current top team, the German national handball team is challenging the two EM qualifying games against Poland.
Federal trainer Christian Prokop has only recruited WM players in his 16-head cadre for the matches on April 10th in Gliwice and April 13th in Halle/Westfalen.
“Poland is the strongest opponent in this group. In both games we need a top performance in the currently strongest cast,”said Prokop.
For the EURO, which is held from 9th to 26th January 2020 in Norway, Austria and Sweden, the two best teams from each group qualify.
The DHB selection lists the table after clear victories against Israel (37:21) and Kosovo (30:14) with 4:0 points ahead of Poland (2:2). The repercussions against the two outsiders take place in June.
