Hoffenheim makes BVB-Flirt a record transfer

Football Bundesliga TSG Hoffenheim has committed Diadie Samassekoe from Austrian series champion RB Salzburg immediately before the start of the season.

The 23-year-old national player from Mali receives a contract up to 30. June 2024. The midfielder is the seventh entry of the Hoffenheimer this summer. According to consistent media reports, the ransom should be twelve million euros.

This would be the right foot of the new record transfer of the Kraichgauer. So far, Croatian Vice-World Champion Andrej Kramaric (eleven million) was the most expensive TSG purchase.

“In recent weeks we have often emphasized that we will be active again on the Transferal Market, should there be a possibility that convinces us in every respect. Diadie is a player who belongs to a hundred percent in this category,”said TSG Director of Professional Football, Alexander Rosen.

The new TSG coach Alfred Schreuder added:”Diadie has already proven at the highest level what a special football player he is –a very complete midfielder, not only a running and two-fighting force, but also one with excellent technique.”

Samassekaou was also traded with the Viceroy Borussia Dortmund until recently.
