At BVB Paco Alcacer has been one of the absolute winners of the young season. In an interview with the newspaper “Sport”, 26-year-old commented now on his personal situation, storm partner Jadon Sancho and ex-Borusse Ousmane Demele.
“We are still talking about him in Dortmund, but still only well. Talking bad about someone doesn’t create a good atmosphere. You must always stay positive, even if things sometimes do not go so well,”said Alcazar about his former Barcelona colleague Demele, who had forced his departure from the BVB in the summer 2017 by a training strike.
After the departure of the Frenchman Jadon Sancho slipped into the role of the arrow-quick winger in Borussia. Alcazar has also benefited several times from the games of the bloody Englishman.
“He is only 19 years old, has perfect facilities. If he doesn’t go crazy, he’ll be a great man. […] As a player and person in the changing room he is superb. If he continues to improve and adapt to new qualities, he will be one of the best in the world,”prophesied the Spaniard.
Paco Alcacer has apparently found his happiness with the BVB
Together with Sancho, Alcacer will soon be spinning again in the Champions League. There, among other things, it goes against his ex-club Barca. With the Catalans, the attacker had never been happy and eventually fled to Dortmund.
“In life, you have to make decisions. I have no regrets. It’s true that you learn whether you play or not. I try to remember the positive things that made me who I am now. And I try to put the negative things behind me,”said Alcazar, who apparently found his happiness at BVB. In 37 obligatory games for the Viceroy he met proudly 25 times.
His rise in Dortmund does not come from around: “It is about trust and about feeling comfortable in the place. The minutes of the game and the relationship with the teammates are also important. Getting along with them is the key.”
