Swedish national handball player Jesper Nielsen will leave the Rhine-Neckar Lions at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old cyclist changes to the Danish top club Aalborg Handbold, as the Mannheimer Bundesligist reported. Nielsen is awarded a three-year contract in Aalborg. I also had no easy time with the Rhine-Neckar lions due to my many injuries,”said Nielsen.
The Swede is the next high-quality transfer of Aalborgs, who had last committed the Danish world handballer Mikkel Hansen to the season 2022.
Norwegian national player Kristian Bjornnsen is already changing from HSG Wetzlar to Aalborg like Nielsen this summer.
