Victory in Rome! Halep benefits from Pliskova task

Romanian Simona Halep has won the WTA tournament in Rome. At the end of the event, sponsored by around two million dollars, the world ranking range led to 6:0, 2:1 against Karolina Pliskova and then profited from a task of the Czech Republic.

The World Series was stopped by an injury to the left thigh.

Halep had already won the Prague Sandplatz tournament in August and is going as one of the top favorites to the French Open from September 27th.

To one of the top favorites in the French Open.

The 28-year-old had refused to attend the US Open because of Corona’s concerns. In Paris, the world ranking Ashleigh Barty (Australia) and US Open Champion Naomi Osaka (Japan) will now be missing.
