With artificial intelligence for top transfer: football league member Werder Bremen is increasingly focusing on his own digital data collection. This was confirmed by Managing Director Frank Baumann against “Radio Bremen”.
“We came across Jiri Pavlenka for example because of the data analysis,” said Baumann: “Nothing about a live scouting, But artificial intelligence can be very useful in advance.”
Gatekeeper Pavlenka had released the Hanseatic feast in the summer 2017 for three million euros from Slavia Prague. The Czech Republic was one of the best players in its position last season.
Werder’s new system was developed together with Bremen’s Just Add AI company. The platform brings together reports and evaluations of the scouts employed, in addition the tool seeks further relevant performance and game data as well as information about the professionals independently on the Internet.
